Overview of Youth Classes

Our programs are designed to enrich and empower young minds. Rooted in the principles of Creative Dramatics and Improvisation our program strives to build community by expanding the child’s vision beyond their own experience. Partnered with a strong sense of play and a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere will be an advanced acting/performance technique designed to arm students with a strong foundation in any professional setting.

• MUSIC & MOVEMENT
  This fun, high energy class will guide children to learn, create and explore music and rhythms by using stories, poems, and singing games while engaging our imaginations and natural sense of play.

• STORYTELLING
  By learning and implementing storytelling skills, students will begin to understand the importance of storytelling in life and on the stage. In this class we will use our natural talents to explore different storytelling techniques and styles. While learning the core concepts of acting we will explore both our own stories and others.

• SUMMER CAMP!
  Creating Characters for Grades 1-6
  Using the core concepts of acting, students will explore character development through text work and improvisation. Throughout our journey students will create characters from the inside out and bring them to life, culminating in a final showcase.

June 24-28, 2019
Daily, 10:00am – 1:00pm, $200 per student
