We’re very excited to be partnering with Tustin Area Council For Fine Arts (TACFA) for the second year in a row on their Broadway in the Park series. This year’s perfect-for-the-entire-family musical classic will be Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. The show runs August 16-20 at Peppertree Park in Tustin, but the first readthru happened on July 5th.
The entire cast and crew gathered, along with TACFA supporters and board members, and our own Executive Producers Scott & Georgia Well, to read and sing thru the show for the first time. The event kicked off with director Matthew McCray (who helmed this year’s season opener, Dogfight) explaining his vision for the show, which aims to capitalize on the outdoor setting of the venue and create a more immersive performance.
Then the VIP audience enjoyed the beautiful voices and comedic talents as the cast read thru the show.
We can’t wait to see how the show all comes together at Peppertree park this August, and we hope that you’ll join us for this Tustin tradition.
Special thanks to TACFA for inviting us back, all their supporters for making the program possible, and Scott & Georgia Well for ensuring that our creative team can fulfill their vision.
