On the Fyda-Mar Stage…
Two strangers are waiting for the bus on a cold road at night… next to a cemetery. The bus is late. The woman’s coat is too thin. And this fast-talking teenager waiting at the same bus stop won’t leave her alone. He works hard to get her to talk to him, using everything from philosophical riffs to brash seduction. Just around the corner is a liquor store, whose owner is waiting for a special delivery. All three people have no idea what this fateful night holds in store… and that it may provide the answers they’ve all been looking for. Hamish Linklater’s funny and spooky debut play goes on a twisty journey exploring the important topics of life, death, and Doritos.
Recommendation: Ages 13 and up. Contains frequent use of adult language.

Loved it. I was in tears at the end. Thank you for an amazing time
The production really was excellent as were the performances of each of the cast members, but I must say that Sam Bullington’s performance was exceptional. Completely believable. The twists and turns in each character’s story was unexpected and Amanda really had us going — I still don’t know what was true and what wasn’t. Thank you for an entertaining evening. Sooo much better than a movie.
We loved this production – scrip, actors, set. One of your very best plays.
It was a wonderful show!
I thought Vandals was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen at The Chance. The acting was fabulous and the twist at the end really caught me by surprise.
The production was outstanding – acting was excellent, writing realistic and top-rate
Enjoyed the show quite a bit. These actors were superb.
We liked Vandal especially because it made us think and it was the topic of conversation at dinner that evening.
I was amazed at the superior acting
I found Boy very engaging, Woman guarded but then human, and Man felt to me like he could be my next door neighbor. A mesmerizing story, with an unexpected plot twist that pulled it all together at the end. Loved it.
This was excellence in playwrighting, acting & directing
Brilliantly cast; amazingly acted
The acting was superb. The timing was excellent. You had no idea what was coming. The minimalist set worked. When I walked in I thought “Oh, layers, astro-turf.” But as the play continued I saw the bus stop, the hospital, the liquor store, the cemetery.”
