“ A suspenseful, life-and-death drama that is of believable cosmic significance. Complex and rich in mystical religious insights, this is breathtaking entertainment. ”
School Library Journal
“ Madeleine L'Engle mixes classical theology, contemporary family life, and futuristic science fiction to make a completely convincing tale ”
One dark and stormy night, the eccentric Mrs. Whatsit arrives at the home of Meg Murry, a young teen who doesn’t fit in at her New England high school. Meg’s scientist Father vanished over two years ago, under mysterious circumstances. Aided by Mrs. Whatsit and her friends, Meg, her gifted brother Charles Wallace, and her friend Calvin are transported through time and space on a mission to rescue their father from the evil forces that hold him prisoner on another planet. John Glore’s delightful, wildly theatrical adaptation brings Madeleine L’Engle’s acclaimed story magically to life.

The Chance is thrilled to be providing at least one "Relaxed Performance" per show in our TYA Family Series. Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome patrons who will benefit from a less restricted audience environment. Patrons of all abilities are welcome, including but not limited to those with intellectual or learning disabilities, sensory processing conditions or autism. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement within the auditorium, and some minor production changes may be made to reduce the intensity of light, sound and other potentially startling effects.
Children under the age of 4 are admitted for FREE to our relaxed performances, so long as they are accompanied by an adult and not sitting in a seat by themselves.

Your performance, and the cleverness of the sets, costumes, and special effects was incredible.

I brought my sister, she had read the book, she was so thrilled with the way it was performed. She said it was as she had imagined it. I had only seen the movie version. This performance was better than the movie.
Another Great job Chance Theater!!👍👍🥰🥰

I found my jaw dropped and in awe while Meg, Charlie and Calvin went through the wrinkle in time. The creative mind who put together the silk cloth, sound effects and projected visuals was a genius. I truly felt I was with them going through a time/space warp. If that is how I felt as a 62 year old I wonder how the children felt? The show was truly magical!

This show was stunning! This was my official introduction to the full story of “A Wrinkle in Time,” and I was NOT disappointed! The cast was dedicated fully to every character they portrayed and to each other! This production is unlike any show I have ever seen.

Keep up the good work!

Quite honestly I did not know I was going to a TYA production until it was announced at the beginning. I came with my boyfriend and felt the need to apologize in advance, this was his third play ever. I’m introducing him to theater. To our surprise the entire plat was not only entertaining but first rate. Great acting, staging, quality, etc. We were both thoroughly pleased and hope to bring my girlfriends two boys soon. I have never been disappointed in anything at Chance.
