Chris and Steve Sumpter have been members of Chance Theater for six years; we are grateful to experience creative and talented actors of the Chance family. We are excited to be Supporting Producers of Once. If there is one thing that gets emotions flowing, it’s a great musical with a great plot. We chose to produce Once because it captures the joy, struggle, and beauty of life. It is the winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Once tell the story of a Dublin street musician and a Czech immigrant whose encounter sparks a week-long collaboration. This unlikely friendship blossoms into something powerful, complicated, and brings the possibility of something more.
