Artist Profile
Christa Havenhill is a California-born educator, director, and actress. She received her B.A. in theatre from Fresno State University and her M.F.A. in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University. She has appeared in numerous regional productions and commercials on both coasts. Currently, she is a theatre arts professor at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. Christa is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association and a respondent for KCACTF Region 8 productions. Additionally, she has taught as adjunct faculty at Mt. San Jacinto College-Menifee and has served as a judge for the Inland Theatre League. Christa recently earned her Ph.D. in Communication.
Favorite stage roles: Becca in Rabbit Hole (Black Box Productions, with Ron Hastings), Pam in The Full Monty (Candlelight Pavilion), Woman #1 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Murrieta Repertory), and Nellie in South Pacific (Historic Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre).
Favorite directorial credits: Avenue Q, Rent, Spring Awakening, The Wiz, The Miracle Worker, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Oklahoma!, Grease, Bat Boy: The Musical, and A Virtual Whodunnit.
