Christian D. Henrriquez is a Southern California-based lighting designer and teaching artist. After four years in the Washington DC area, he is excited to be back home and creating with the Chance Theater. Previous Chance productions include A Wrinkle in Time and Edges. Regional lighting design credits include Baño de Luna and La Valentía (GALA Hispanic Theatre), Seven Deadly Sins (Wolf Trap Opera), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Illinois Shakespeare Festival), Frontiéres Sans Frontiéres (Spooky Action Theater), Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood and Cinderella: A Salsa Fairytale (Imagination Stage). Associate lighting design credits include Mexodus (Off-Broadway: Daryl Roth Theater), The Other Americans (Off-Broadway: The Public Theater), Chez Joey (Arena Stage), La Traviata (Atlanta Opera).
